Walking through Janson's show is like walking through a line drawing. His wire sculptures ebb and flow like marks on a page to create the human form. It's interesting what few lines come together to form an eye or an ear or a hand. Unexpectedly, the figures inspire compassion-compassion for our simple humanity and the complex emotions that come with it.
