The surreal figurative works by Ashley Benton and Christopher Lee Gilmer hover between realities. Both artists' work addresses interpersonal relationships and the fractures of individual realities. Gilmer's paintings also point to man's broken relationship to the environment. Filled with symbolism, this show is contemplative of the human condition.
