"After what seemed like the longest winter ever, and feeling cooped up, I welcomed the advent of spring and summer with much joy. As a way to celebrate my escape, I started walking the property and witnessed the miracle of the ground waking up. This poem, by ullie-kaye, puts into words what I hope my images might convey:

wildflowers

"i do not need oceans of people

by my side. even too much beauty

can overwhelm me. but let me ask,

if i may, for just a few, small

wildflowers on my way. those free

and imperfect scattered souls.

those mighty and steadfast

champions of light. ever growing.

and flowing. and blowing. and

glowing. beside me."
