About the artist...
Mary Fischer, from Russian and German descent was born in Texas. Mary took interest in clay later in life, before she began her career as an artist she traveled with the United States Air Force and worked in Austin for environmental consulting agencies. She uses clay slabs to form ceramic pieces inspired by buildings and architecture.
