“The “Suite Vollard Sur Series” started as a small experiment and became a full-blown journey. As a lover of traditional materials—the texture of paper, the feel of a solid object—I was initially hesitant to dive into the digital world. I missed the tactile quality that physical materials give you. But the iPad Pro and Procreate gave me a new kind of freedom. The challenge was to approach this new medium with the same openness as a blank canvas. I found myself inspired by Pablo Picasso's Suite Vollard series —the relaxed figures, the bold lines, the visual textures. This series became my way of translating that inspiration into a digital space, creating figures in moments of quiet contemplation. In the end, the act of creation was exactly the same, even if the tools were different. And seeing these works printed on museum-quality paper was a revelation. It felt like bringing the digital realm into the physical one, a true reflection of our time. It was a funny moment when a film director friend saw them and said, 'I could never have done that, even with the best computer and the best printer.' His surprise reminded me that the source of creation is still a mystery—it comes from an internal trust, a feeling we can't quite name, regardless of whether we hold a brush or an IPencil.”  ~Juan Andres Videla
