The work of Mia Carameros and Holly Wilson is at once delicate and strong. Small, seemingly fragile figures persist against the elements of their worlds. Both bodies of work pay homage to heritage and the story-telling of this strength. Wilson's sculptures recall myths and folk stories, Carameros' titles point to a common narrative as well as one specific to the artists' life. In this way, each figure- human or botanical- represents the individual as well as a greater whole.
