"Inspired by the serene beauty of the Portland Japanese Garden, my Quilted Garden set transforms imagery from the gardens into six quilted vignettes. Since focusing on quilting in the past year, I was inspired to challenge myself to take drawn images and turn them into simple quilted compositions using a limited palette of solid colors. I was able to practice and perfect techniques of sewing circles and angled pieces as well as basic binding and hand quilting." ~Becky Joye
