Ice Water Eye Swatter / East of Shallowater

On Saturday, June 7th, Wally Workman Gallery opens their first show with painter Lance Myers, Frequencies in the Static Bloom. Myers' work evokes the Flemish flower paintings of the 17th and 18th centuries, embracing the hedonistic lushness of the natural world and creating an atmosphere that feels luxurious as well as taboo. An impressive debut, the show will include both figurative and floral still life paintings. Lance Myers is based in Austin, Texas.

Established in 1980 and located in a 120 year old historic house, the Wally Workman Gallery specializes in emerging and collected talent.
