Yes v. 2 (More with Less)

My work is made largely from found materials which might otherwise be tossed away, such as packaging or promotional materials, as well as vintage books and other ephemera. As I cut and arrange these materials I revel in the creation of order from chaos. Fragments of familiar graphic elements are taken out of context and pattern emerges. My inner state may be reflected in the work, which is at once dynamic and static. Influences include Kurt Schwitters, John Cage, Josef Albers, Louise Nevelson and the Bauhaus textiles of Gunta Stolz.
