The process of using clay to engage the senses is an exercise of reflection and evolved understanding. As physical and focused as my art necessarily is, it requires me to be present, melding reality with imagination and vision, giving license to the "ordinary". In effect, the truth that originates within me is materialized externally through my discipline.
